Snapchat this week introduced its own in-app shot video maker in a challenge to its social media rival TikTok. The new TikTok alternative is known as “Spotlight” which will enable Snapchat users to view the content uploaded by the influencers and other members of the network.

Snapchat is now allowing its users to display the number of followers they have added to their account. Earlier Snapchat did not allow its users to show the follower count publicly. Only users themselves had info about the number of followers they have. The update was discovered by a renowned social media researcher Mike Metzler before anyone else, and also shared a screenshot to his Twitter account.
Google has come up with another update, which includes information about indexing issues with mobile indexing and canonicalization. As of the updates, release on 14th October 2020 the final issue regarding indexing was resolved except for a few of the minor edge cases.
