Job Summary

We are looking for a talented, skilled and experienced back-end web developer who can conceptualize and develop our web application products. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of front-end and back-end engineersand graphics designers

Responsibilities :

– Develop product enhancements in the server back-end in the Python/Django stack

– Do software design of the product enhancement

– Map product requirement to application feature.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Mandatory Skills :

– 2 years experience as a back-end web developer

– Strong understanding of the 3 key areas of web application architecture: server back-end, frontend presentation (HTML, CSS) and interactive web (Javascript and jQuery)

– Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Node.js

– Proficiency in at least one modern MVC web development framework

– Proficient in a modern open-source relational database such as MySQL or Postgres

– Ability to do database design and modeling

– Proficient in OOPS concepts and writing code using classes

– Ability to write modular and clean code – Knowledge of Responsive Web Design (RWD)

– Working knowledge of a NoSQL database

– Hands-on experience with setting up a web server such as Apache or nginx

Good to have Skills: – Proficiency in Python

– Proficiency in Django

– Proficiency in a NoSQL database such as Cassandra. MongoDB, DynamDB

– Ability to do software design for a small web application.
